Search2GO and Search2GO Lite for iPhone

Search2GO is a robust search tool for salesforce.com customers that are using the Apple iPhone. Available for a one-time download fee from iTunes AppStore, Search2GO lets users search for all Leads, Contacts, Accounts and Opportunities that reside within their instance of Salesforce CRM and view details for the specific records found.

As many business travelers are on the road with limited access to their computers, finding specific information about a client or prospect can be difficult. Search2GO offers easy-to-use searching capabilities, so finding that address or phone number of a contact is simple and fast.

While synching your iPhone with Outlook either via iTunes or Exchange may give you your contact and calendar information in Salesforce CRM, Search2GO enables additional visibility into Leads, Accounts, and Opportunities data. This is critical information you need to access instantaneously when you’re not in front of your computer. One touch dialing for phone numbers and Google maps locator for addresses further enhances productivity while on the road.

While Search2GO for iPhone enables users to view information in their Salesforce CRM application, it does not require an enterprise mobile license from salesforce.com. Search2GO can be purchased by an individual user with a one time payment through the AppStore without the need for a corporate license decision. No additional payments are required for unlimited use. Even better, Search2GO is even available for organizations using salesforce.com’s Professional Edition out of the box, as well as the Enterprise and Unlimited Editions.

Search2Go is an application that runs on your iPhone and does not require any customization or additional applications running within Salesforce CRM. Using the iPhone’s touch screen, the application opens with just a tap. Select an individual table of data to search on (i.e. Account, Contact) by selecting the icon, then type in your search criteria to access your Salesforce database. Alternatively, select all tables to search Accounts, Contacts, Leads and Opportunities from the same search. Displayed in an easy-to view and use format, important data resides at the top of the screen, while all secondary record data is located beneath and is accessible by scrolling down.

Both applications have all the features listed in the description above, however Search2GO Lite does not let the user make phone calls or send emails with one touch from the lead or contact record.  The full version of Search2GO enables this feature for a $10 one time fee.
