Sales Solution Architect
Position Objective:
The Sales Solution Architect works with Account Executives and Engagement Managers on both new and existing accounts. This responsibilities include working with customers and prospects to understand complex requirements and translate them into a roadmap that leverages appropriate technologies. The Sales Solution Architect must be able to write and verbalize the solution, level of effort, and costs associated with the project. Previous experience in consulting, technology architecture/engineering and sales are needed to effectively meet the requirements of this position.
Qualifications (Desirable):
- Advanced Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Business Disciplines
Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):
- Bachelors Degree required
- 2+ years of pre-sales experience
- 3+ years of consulting experience
- 7+ years of technology experience
- Prior experience in a customer facing role
- Experience and a deep understanding of cloud computing and/or web-based solutions
- Knowledge of related enterprise applications, relational database and web technology
- Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment
- Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical and business problems
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable):
- Experience with CRM sales or consulting
- Prior experience doing solution selling
- Experience with enterprise application platforms
- Basic programming experience in HTML and other web based technologies
